Zero Cloud Processing Guarantee: ScribeFlux is an offline-first desktop application. All speech-to-text processing, model inference, and audio parsing occur 100% locally on your device (Windows or macOS). Your audio, video, and generated transcripts NEVER leave your machine or get transmitted to any cloud servers.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Unlike cloud transcription services (OpenAI Whisper API, Google Speech-to-Text, AWS Transcribe), ScribeFlux does NOT collect or process your personal content:

We do NOT upload, stream, store, or analyze your audio or video recordings.
We do NOT store or transmit your transcripts, SRT subtitles, or export files.
We do NOT log or retain your voice biometric identifiers.
We do NOT use your conversations to train or fine-tune machine learning models.

2. Information Collected for Licensing & Purchases

When you purchase a ScribeFlux PRO license through our website or within the application, transactions are securely handled by our Merchant of Record and payment partner, Paddle.com Inc. / Paddle Payments Ltd.

Paddle collects the following billing data required to fulfill the purchase and comply with international tax laws:

Email address (for receipt delivery and license key dispatch).
Billing country and postal code (for VAT/sales tax calculation).
Payment method details (credit card token, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Your raw card numbers are handled exclusively by PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processors and are never visible to ScribeFlux.

3. License Key Activation & Telemetry

To activate your ScribeFlux PRO license, your application stores your cryptographic license key locally in your device's preferences. ScribeFlux supports 100% offline HMAC validation, allowing you to use ScribeFlux PRO without an active internet connection. Optional online verification checks may be performed periodically to confirm subscription validity or retrieve software updates.

4. Third-Party Services

Our website and licensing infrastructure utilize the following reputable third-party providers:

Paddle: Payment processing and invoice generation. (Paddle Privacy Policy)
Cloudflare: High-speed content delivery network (CDN) and DDoS protection for website hosting.
Hugging Face / whisper.cpp Releases: Optional public download mirror for official open-weight GGUF Whisper models.

5. Data Security

Because your multimedia data resides entirely in your local storage, you maintain absolute sovereign control over your data. We recommend keeping your operating system up-to-date and securing your workstation according to industry standards.
